Al Mukalla is a main sea port and the capital city of the Hadhramaut coastal region in Yemen. It’s another must-see-Yemen-place on my list (that’s a long list for sure).
The loveliest thing is that there’s plenty of goats (I grew up around goats, and never seemed to get over them) around the Old town, and small fishing boats lying close to the coast. Small Al-Ghwayzi Fort seems so charming, and the trading spots around the town full of colors and smells (I can sense that already).
Hope to see it someday.
I love this place! Mukalla.. http://waelben2000.wordpress.com/
